Loving yourself is about moving through yourself, caring for parts that you think are downright unlovable, and accepting where you are at before embarking on the journey of getting to where you want to be.
When you don't love yourself enough, your psyche and the type of energy you put out into the universe is affected. It leaves you susceptible to those who wish to exploit you for that vulnerability. 😶🌫️
Loving yourself leads to us doing and being better and it brings us strength when the going gets tough. 💪
We all have something that needs polishing until it shines⭐and admitting that is hard. So here’s the tough stuff:
LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO...
…Speak to yourself with kindness and compassion. Print a photo of yourself as a child and put it on your mirror. When you’re getting ready for the day, realize any negative thoughts about yourself are directed to that little kid smiling sweetly back at you. If you wouldn’t say what you’re thinking to them, don’t say it to yourself, now!
...Work towards becoming the new and improved *you.* Reframe habits or unhealthy thought patterns
...Walk away - from people who don't protect your name when you leave the room and places that breed toxicity. 🚶🏃
...Stop comparing yourself to others. Take a break from social media. It's abducted you from reality. 🛸
...Stop waging war on yourself and with others! 🤼
...Be your goofy self. Get up on the dancefloor and shake what ya mama gave ya. 💃💃💃 Those who don't like it can sip from their cup of judgement (P.S. They're jealous, see point “walk away”).
...Be your own best friend, remind yourself, "I am capable. I am strong. I can do this." 💪💪
AND
...Drop your insecurities at the door. Book 👏🏻 that 👏🏻 Empowerment Shoot!!!! 👏🏻📸 Step in front of that camera and let *YOU* shine through. New Year, Same Betch, but now your walls are down, your free to be you, and in tow, is your newly found inner bada$$.
